This paper analyses several inter-sections between Democracy and Labour Law. Venezuela's history figures as a clear example where workers feel constantly deprived of their labour rights when they find themselves under any dictatorial or au-thoritarian government. Moreover, without trade-union freedom, it is not possible to go ahead with the process of democratis-ing community.
