Abstract

The education of architectural projects structured in vertical workshops, in which students of different years spend time on teaching has been a formula adopted in different universities and historical periods, and constituted the fundamental structure of this teaching in the School of Architecture of Seville since 1975 -76 until 1994-95. This teaching system generated important synergies between teachers and students, especially between the students themselves who learned not only from the teacher but also from classmates at higher levels, establishing a structure similar to that of the craft workshops, facilitating the initiation into a new practice, as it is the one of the artistic creation, improving the collaborative work and the intergenerational relationship.
