The economic crisis is beating Spanish economy with special strength and intensity. As a result, labour markets variables show a very bad evolution both in Spain and in Andalusia. According to the data afford by National Statistics Institute for the first term of 2009, employment is falling very quickly while labour supply still grows very softly. As a result, unemployment has grown in the last year reaching the figure of 4 millions. The paper show the evolution of the main labour variables in Spain and Andalusia during the last years.
La crisis económica está afectando de forma significativa y acelerada al mercado de trabajo tanto en España como en Andalucía. Según los datos proporcionados por la EPA, el primer trimestre de 2009 muestra una caída de la ocupación y un aumento del desempleo que alcanza los cuatro millones de personas. En el artículo se pasa revista a la evolución de los últimos trimestres de las principales variables laborales a nivel español y andaluz.
