Abstract

La teoría de juegos estudia problemas de decisión multipersonales y proporciona una metodología importante para el análisis cuantitativo en las ciencias sociales. Dentro de este marco, los juegos restringidos permiten una formulación más realista y práctica de ciertos problemas de decisión bajo incertidumbre. Este tipo de juegos surgen cuando las estrategias de uno o más jugadores están sometidas a ciertas restricciones lineales. El objeto de este trabajo es estudiar los juegos matriciales vectoriales restringidos y poner de manifiesto su potencialidad para analizar y resolver problemas en los que aparecen decisores y criterios en conflicto. Proponemos un procedimiento para resolver el juego restringido cuando las restricciones adicionales a las que están sometidas las estrategias de los jugadores, determinan un subconjunto poliédrico del conjunto de sus estrategias mixtas. Este procedimiento consiste en resolver un juego no restringido, cuya matriz lleva incorporada la información adicional de que se dispone. Además, en estos problemas, el aspecto computacional cobra especial relevancia, pues no sólo es importante el análisis teórico de la existencia de soluciones sino también es conveniente disponer de procedimientos eficaces para obtener las soluciones y analizar sus propiedades.
