Los salarios pierden peso en la renta nacional. Informe de coyuntura sobre el mercado de trabajo en España y Andalucía (cuarto trimestre de 2006)

Abstract

La evolución de la economía española en el cuarto trimestre de 2006 ha seguido la tendencia de los últimos años, alcanzando tasas de crecimiento muy elevadas en el contexto europeo. El crecimiento económico se sigue traduciendo en un buen comportamiento de las variables laborales, fundamentalmente las relativas a la ocupación y al desempleo. Las cifras de ocupados alcanzados en este trimestre para el conjunto de la economía española son cifras record. Lo mismo ocurre con las tasas de desempleo, que se acercan a las medias europeas y alcanzan cifras que no se presentaban desde hace casi treinta años. La evolución es paralela en lo que se refiere a las variables laborales andaluzas, aunque con un diferencial que se mantiene aunque se va reduciendo poco a poco. Esta buena evolución de las variables laborales debe matizarse si prestamos atención a otras también importantes como son las relativas a los salarios y a los costes laborales. Si bien los salarios suben, pierden peso en lo que respecta a la renta nacional y apuntan hacia la necesidad de reflexionar sobre las causas últimas de la señalada pérdida de competitividad de la economía española.
