Abstract

This work is created with the aim to apply into the reality the knowledge acquired in theoretical lessons. From RSSI information got with sensors, a general equation will be defined for the loss propagation in free space. Moreover, to emphasize the importance of choosing a good antenna, this work has been conducted with two different antennas to realize the differences between them. Finally, in order to get an idea of the practical range a WSN can have, visual material has been included created with GSI software (geographical information system.)
