Abstract

"Cerdos y hienas" es un trabajo de investigación que persigue entroncar –teóricamente- la necesidad de narración autobiográfica y la justificación de lo narrado con –en la práctica- los medios y lenguajes plásticos para su comunicación. Esta narración y exposición se centra en el proceder cotidiano del entorno del autor, en el que una suerte de antihéroes son retratados en constante actitud agresiva, etílica y sexual; su forma de enfrentarse a la cotidianidad, y cómo ésta se torna en forma, convirtiéndose en un modus operandi que afecta a cada una de las tomas de decisiones diarias, actitudes repetitivas, revelando una suerte de nuevo costumbrismo que retrata a una generación en un momento y lugar exacto, siendo su descontextualización poco o nada servible para la representación y conciencia de lo que aquí se muestra. El autor propone una obra que revele su intimidad, que sucumba al imperativo del ego y clame su existencia. Quiere conmover al espectador, divertirlo o hacerlo partícipe de su persona. En la práctica, todo se construye a partir de la espontaneidad fotográfica que acompaña la volatilidad del momento, haciendo que la práctica artística y el comportamiento antes referido no puedan existir si no es al unísono. El trabajo posterior se centra en las formas narrativas, fuera del formato convencional, marco o caballete para narrar de forma que conjugue y que complemente en metodología, forma, significado y significante esta suerte de desventuras diarias. Estas formas se centrarán en la fotografía y la pintura con sus distintas prestaciones para llevarnos a unos recursos cercanos a la instalación.
