Instituto de Estadística y Cartografía de Andalucía (IECA): fuentes de datos

Abstract

In the present Final Degree Project, we aim to know the IECA (Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia), his data sources and generate reports with the free software language R based on the data offered by the IECA. To fulfill these objectives, this work has been arranged in three chapters. In the first chapter, a tour of the IECA takes place: history, structure, objectives, studies carried out, resources that it has, and information and tools that it makes available to users through his website. In chapter number 2, we will focus on knowing the data sources. With the objective of clearly explaining the way to access them, how to consult their data and how to export the information that they present. Finally, in the third chapter, using code in the R language developed in this paper, the data obtained in IECA can be imported, which will be prepared and analyzed with the help of some packages. Each of the necessary steps to carry out this analysis will be described in detail, the new graphs obtained and the conclusions will be shown, as well as the R code used.
