Este ensayo indaga y plantea algunas sugerencias sobre posibles concomitancias y divergencias entre la concepción jurídica de Vico y el derecho global de nuestro tiempo. La inquietud constante del filósofo napolitano por el estudio de un fundamento único y universal del derecho, así como por analizar las diferentes manifestaciones y variantes de las experiencias jurídicas de los pueblos, a través del tiempo, parecen anticipar determinados rasgos de la globalización jurídica actual. Esos fenómenos de interdependencia entre las normas e instituciones de los sistemas jurídicos, esa búsqueda de soluciones jurídicas comunes a los distintos ordenamientos del presente, así como la aspiración a un fundamento universal de la juridicidad, invitan a proyectar la enseñanza viquiana sobre la problemática actual de la globalización del derecho.

This essay inquires into, and offers some suggestion about, possible concomitances and divergences between Vico’s legal conception and the global right of our times. The constant worry that the Napoletan philosopher manifested about the search for a unique and universal ground for right, as well as about the analysis of the different manifestations and varieties of legal experiences among the peoples, through time, seem to anticipate certain traits of present-day legal globalization. Phenomena of interdependency between the norms and institutions of legal systems, that search for legal solutions common to the different contemporary legal systems, together with the aspiration to a universal ground for legality, invite us to project Viquian lessons into the current problems of legal globalization.
