This paper presents an analysis of article 12 of the Ibero-American Social Security system which allows the interested parties to be admitted to the voluntary insurance of one or more States within the scope of the Multilateral Agreement; Therefore, the coverage of the beneficiaries is extended to the voluntary regime and not only to the mandatory of the Social Security, within the terms regulated in the agreement itself
El presente trabajo recoge un análisis del artículo 12 del Convenio Iberoamericano de Seguridad Social que permite a los interesados ser admitidos a los seguros voluntarios de uno o varios Estados dentro del ámbito del Convenio Multilateral; por tanto, se amplía la cobertura de los beneficiarios al régimen voluntario y no sólo al obligatorio de la Seguridad Social, dentro de los términos regulados en el propio convenio
