Una Definición precisa del concepto nivel de dominio de una competencia en el marco del aprendizaje basado en competencias

Abstract

Enmarcados dentro del Espacio Europeo de Enseñanza Superior (EEES), los planes de estudio de los nuevos títulos universitarios de Grado han sido desarrollados bajo el paradigma del Aprendizaje Basado en Competencias (ABC). El proceso de evaluación bajo el modelo de ABC se construye a partir del concepto “nivel de dominio” de una competencia alcanzado por el alumno. Sin embargo, se han propuesto diferentes definiciones para este concepto que, aunque correctas, son incompletas y/o ambiguas. En este trabajo proponemos una definición clara, completa y precisa de “nivel de dominio”, que generaliza las distintas interpretaciones encontradas en la literatura, mediante una serie de parámetros. Estos parámetros dotan a la definición de la suficiente flexibilidad para poder instanciarla a distintas interpretaciones particulares. Esta definición ha facilitado la aceptación de este concepto y su aplicación en la elaboración de los estudios de Grado por parte del profesorado del Departamento de Sistemas Informáticos en la Escuela Superior de Ingeniería Informática de Albacete.
