Abstract

If it exists at the present time a thematic of general interest in educational environment that it’s the one that makes reference to the incorporation of Web 2.0 in all the educational levels. In the present paper we will develop a brief review on a new web that is transforming from the web that only facilitates us information to a reusable and social web. In order to do this we will approach the main characteristics that configure it and where the virtual spaces are fomented linked to the process of social interaction that is generated through different tools, fundamentally some of which will also be address more explicitly, such as: social nets, wikis, etc. To sum up, a first analysis toward the technology Web 2.0 that facilitates us new spaces for collaboration and social interaction and different didactic strategies for the development of these new formative environments. As well we will develop the point referred to the faculty's role in Web 2.0 formative contexts that is considered as a fundamental ax in these new formative processes. The ITC incorporation on the teaching and learning processes has led to the emergence of new needs in many of the elements that configure it. Undoubtedly, the professor as an educational agent in training processes through the Net is one of the reasons that most have influenced in this new formative environments. To conclude, the paper presents different future perspectives around the Web 2.0 thematic and its incorporation process in higher education using different tools and didactic strategies.
