Socialización fotográfica digital : competencias y prácticas culturales en nativos digitales

Abstract

En este trabajo de investigación, se presentan los resultados de un estudio sobre las formas de socialización fotográfica digital que realizan los llamados “nativos digitales”, para explorar así sus competencias en el manejo del flujo de trabajo fotográfico digital y sus prácticas culturales, bajo las categorías de análisis: captura, organización, socialización, recepción, privacidad y derechos de autor en la fotografía digital. El estudio explora las formas de producir la fotografía digital, las problemáticas técnicas de la gestión fotográfica, y los usos finales que realizan los fotógrafos digitales en el entorno de las herramientas de la web 2.0, la telefonía móvil y las redes sociales. La tecnología fotográfica digital, cámaras compactas, teléfonos móviles con cámara, sitios web especializados en fotografía e Internet, generan nuevas formas de producción y estilos emergentes de socialización fotográfica digital. El estudio se realiza a una muestra definida de estudiantes universitarios, “nativos digitales”, que realizan y usan la fotografía digital.
