Hemos analizado documentos de los archivos de la Catedral de Sevilla buscando noticias de las antiguas custodias que esta catedral tuvo. A pesar de que la catedral tiene la mejor custodia de toda España, terminada en 1587, el templo tuvo dos custodias más antes de estas fechas, una hecha antes de 1433, y otra que se realizó entre 1499 y 1526 o 1527. Ninguna de ellas existe hoy día.

We have analyze the documents in the Archives of Cathedral of Sevilla, looking for the news of the old custodias, or monstrances, this church had. In spite of the cathedral has the best custodia of all of Spain, finished in 1587, this church had two pieces more before this date, one made before 1433, and other builded between 1499 and 1526 or 27. Both of them don’t exist today.
