Paisajes urbanos y autenticidad percibida

Abstract

The intense competition faced by cultural destinations causes them to focus on the search for formulas that will generate a competitive advantage, having noted the authenticity as one of the elements that have the greatest impact on visitor satisfaction and loyalty. While there are multiple elements that can affect the perceived authenticity, heritage management that the cities have special relevance from both academic and public management. Destinations that employ a sustainable development strategy would develop its historical heritage and enable triple sectoral component comprising the Urban Landscapes (tourism, leisure and commerce), and has become the main source of economic activity for much municipalities. This is why the present study aimed to analyze the impact to preserving and maintaining the authenticity Urban Landscapes perceived by the visitor and the latter on the activities carried out once in the destination.
