The viability of an integral biological treatment for the swine wastewater purification in a piggery farm, was studied. Previously, at a laboratory scale, the anaerobic biodegradability of this wastewater was analyzed, using different clayey supports to immobilize the microorganisms in batch regime, at 35ºC, with an organic load ranged from 0,2 to 2,2 g COD/l.
