Abstract

En este artículo se estudian secuencialmente los antiguos y nuevos conceptos de distrito industrial, como son: el concepto de distrito industrial en Alfred Marshall; la crisis de los años setenta y el reencuentro con el concepto de distrito industrial; el concepto de distrito industrial en G. Becattini; la especialización flexible y el distrito industrial; el nuevo concepto de distrito industrial según el modelo de Becattini y Rullani, y la economía industrial del espacio.
