The world's largest olive oil production is concentrated in the Mediterranean countries, Spain is the main producer, specifically in Andalucia’s area. However the extraction process generates a lot of byproducts and waste, for instance: olive pomace and water wastes. These wastes mostly require a certain management in order to achieve a reduction in accordance with the environmental law, or a valuation to determine the potential damage posed to the environment. Thererfore, a previous study on this sector will be developed in this project implementing a waste treatment project, in order to transform these residues into products that can generate profits while it satisfies legal conditions.
