Abstract

La educación está evolucionando desde una formación basada en el conocimiento a otra centrada en las capacidades, propiciando el aprendizaje permanente y la construcción de competencias adecuadas para contribuir al desarrollo cultural, social y económico de la sociedad. En este contexto, la universidad española está en un proceso de adaptación de las titulaciones en función de unos perfiles profesionales con perspectiva nacional y europea y con unos objetivos que deben hacer mención expresa de las competencias que se pretende sean adquiridas por los estudiantes. Dicha reforma implica el empleo de nuevas metodologías así como la adaptación de los materiales docentes a las nuevas exigencias del actual contexto educativo de la educación superior. Esto conlleva la modificación de los sistemas de evaluación, que deben centrarse en la valoración del desarrollo de capacidades con preferencia a la adquisición de conocimientos. El objeto del presente trabajo es analizar el efecto que la modificación del sistema de evaluación tiene sobre la calificación de los alumnos.

Education is evolving from an education based on knowledge to one centered on capacities, favoring continuous learning and capacities adquisition to contribute to cultural, social and economical development. Spanish university is in an adaptation process of actual degrees related to national and european professional profiles and its objectives must be centered on the competencies that must be developed by students. It is necesary develop a new teaching methodology as well as a new evaluation system in university education. The objective of this work is to analyze the effects of the modification of evaluation method on the students marks.
