The purpose of this communication is to mark out both the advantages and disadvantages, from our point of view, that the introduction of the ECTS in one of the subjects taught in the Degree of Industrial Relations and Human Resources has brought on. Specially, the focus of attention has centered on the different ways used to monitor the student's personal work. At the same time, the work closes with a series of conclusions about the system deficiencies that may arise and that must be overcome in order of a higher quality of education.
