Abstract

A training program in a social skills addressed to nursery workers in primary assistance was designed. Its main purpose was to test hypothesis: a) the program implementation would improve user’ understanding of health information provided by trained personnel, and b) users’ satisfaction with communication and attention provided by personnel would also be improved. 21 subjects were trained, 2 men and 19 women, and a mean age of 32 a mean professional experience of 5 years.
