Análisis de la segregación laboral por cuestión de género en la mancomunidad de municipios del Bajo Guadalquivir

Abstract

En este trabajo se ha analizado la realidad laboral en una comarca andaluza desde una perspectiva de género y se ha investigado si el imaginario colectivo que informa los procesos de selección puede ayudar a explicar dicha realidad. El objetivo planteado es el conocimiento de la situación ocupacional de mujeres y hombres en los municipios del Bajo Guadalquivir, y su relación con el tipo de actividad, identificando la segregación ocupacional por cuestión de género. También nos hemos propuesto descubrir cuáles han sido los criterios de selección utilizados en la contratación, para analizar si éstos pueden ser factores explicativos de dicha realidad laboral. Las unidades de observación fueron personas del área de Recursos Humanos de empresas de diversos sectores económicos. Se diseñó y elaboró una encuesta con 400 entrevistas, cuyos resultados se analizaron mediante diversos indicadores de correlación (V de Cramer, Coeficiente Phi, etc.) y con la técnica de análisis conjunto. Esta técnica corrobora y explica la realidad laboral obtenida en el análisis estadístico. El imaginario colectivo y las preferencias de las personas que seleccionan y contratan que revela dicha técnica son coherentes con el panorama laboral descrito por el análisis de la ocupación.
