Abstract

The paper's main objective is to know what role public television Galicia (TVG) in the process of outreach of the effects of climate change. We analyzed 52 pieces of information cast during the 2011-2013 seasons in order to know if this chain's speech on climate change is marked by events of a political and institutional character, not with the aim of raising awareness in the viewers. We performed a quantitative and descriptive analysis of the elements of each piece: the subject, treatment, participants and the degree of participation.
