Magnetic loops are common, useful and cheap elements in EMC (electroma gnetic compatibility) laboratories . In this project, its usefulness as near field probes is studied in order to detect electromagnetic interference in different applications such as PCB, cro sstalk analysis, resonance frequencies, etc. Its parameters are charactecterized, evaluating its dessing: unshielded VS shielded, and how it affects to the use as near field probe applying electric field effects, in order to get some experimental results t hat corroborate the theory of near field probes
