Sobre la toponimia de la "Historia de rebus hispaniae" del primado Rodrigo Jiménez de Rada

Abstract

El autor del presente artículo ha publicado varios artículos acerca de la toponimia de la Historia de Rebus Hispaniae sive Historia Gothica de don Rodrigo Jiménez de Rada (s.XIII). En esta ocasión procede a localizar e identificar varios topónimos más que han ofrecido a editores, traductores e historiadores especiales dificultades: Hospita Vallis, Ferrariola, Sambucale, Bollanios, Carpium, Arroyum, Azecuch=Melgar, Alpobrega, Sancti Andree et Sancti Christofori super Ceyam, Sancte Marie in ripa Dorii, Vallis Orne, Sancti Iuliani, Mons Onagrorum, Garadem, Cubas. El método utilizado, propuesto y aplicado por el autor en distintas ocasiones, se realiza mediante la conjugación del estudio intrínseco y la comparación extrínseca de los topónimos.
