Glutamato deshidrogenasas en cianobacterias

Abstract

La finalidad del trabajo que aquí se presenta es contribuir al conocimiento de la función desarrollada por la actividad glutamato deshidrogenasa en las cianobacterias y de su relación con la asimilación de nitrógeno inorgánico, así como profundizar en las características moleculares de estas enzimas. Para ello se ha empleado una amplia metodología que abarca desde las aproximaciones puramente fisiológicas hasta el análisis filogenético de las secuencias de aminoácidos. El estudio físico-químico y cinético de las enzimas, la utilización de técnicas de cionación molecular y la obtención de mutantes afectados en la actividad GDH ha contribuido asimismo al resultado de este estudio.|
