En la práctica, los datos de conteo bivariantes surgen en varias disciplinas diferentes y la distribución Poisson bivariante (DPB), siendo una generalización de la distribución Poisson, juega un rol importante al momento de modelarlos, siempre que dichos datos presenten una correlación no negativa.|
