Abstract

This work focuses on the implementation of a control and cybersecurity system for a PLC-connected house, using Home I/O software, MATLAB and Machine Expert Basic. The main objective is to ensure that the heating system, managed by PID controllers, maintains the temperature of the rooms, even under false data injection attacks. A neuroborrous system (ANFIS) has been implemented which, upon receiving erroneous data such as anomalous temperatures, is able to check other variables of the system to detect if it is under attack. Furthermore, ANFIS ensures that the system continues to operate in a stable manner, ignoring erroneous values and making decisions based on previous data and system behaviour. This promotes a robust defence that allows control of the environment to continue without interruption, even under adverse conditions.
