Abordando la Imagen Corporal desde la autoestima

Abstract

With this final degree Project, we aim to explore in depth the importance of body imagen and the influence of self-esteem on this concept. A study was conducted using three scales related to both concepts. This study was carried out with the 5th grade students of CEIP Hernán Cortés. Additionally, we developed a didactic unit focused on improving the perception of one’s own body image and self-esteem. This didactic unit was implemented with a small group from the study cohort. The implementation of the study and the didactic unit allowed us to obtain our own data and compare them with previously analyzed studies, leading to the conclusion that it is crucial to address body imagen from an early age and consider all factors that influence it.
