Abstract

El presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado se centra en el levantamiento fotogramétrico del patrimonio histórico de Ronda, con un enfoque específico en las Termas Romanas de Acinipo. La fotogrametría, como técnica de medición y representación tridimensional mediante el uso de fotografías, ofrece una herramienta invaluable para la documentación y conservación de sitios arqueológicos. El objetivo principal es generar un modelo digital de las Termas Romanas de Acinipo que permita no solo la preservación visual del sitio, sino también su análisis y estudio con mayor detalle. Este levantamiento digital servirá como base para futuras investigaciones, restauraciones y como material educativo y divulgativo. Para su realización, se utilizó de una estación total para la captura de coordenadas y una cámara para la toma de fotografías. Uno de los desafíos más significativos encontrados durante el proyecto ha sido la obtención de los permisos necesarios para llevar a cabo el levantamiento en el lugar. La gestión de permisos para acceder y trabajar en un sitio arqueológico protegido implica una serie de trámites administrativos que subrayan la importancia de la planificación y la colaboración institucional en proyectos de conservación del patrimonio. Este proyecto no solo contribuirá al conocimiento y preservación del patrimonio histórico de Ronda, sino que también demostrará la eficacia de la fotogrametría como herramienta en la arqueología moderna, ofreciendo un ejemplo práctico de su aplicación en la documentación y conservación del patrimonio cultural.

The present Final Degree Project focuses on the photogrammetric survey of the historical heritage of Ronda, with a specific emphasis on the Roman Baths of Acinipo. Photogrammetry, as a technique for three-dimensional measurement and representation using photographs, offers an invaluable tool for the documentation and conservation of archaeological sites. The main objective is to generate a digital model of the Roman Baths of Acinipo that allows not only the visual preservation of the site but also a more detailed analysis and study. This digital survey will serve as a basis for future research, restorations, and as educational and informational material. For its execution, a total station was used to capture coordinates and a camera for taking photographs. One of the most significant challenges encountered during the project was obtaining the necessary permits to carry out the survey on-site. Managing permissions to access and work on a protected archaeological site involves a series of administrative procedures that highlight the importance of planning and institutional collaboration in heritage conservation projects. This project will not only contribute to the knowledge and preservation of Ronda's historical heritage but also demonstrate the effectiveness of photogrammetry as a tool in modern archaeology, offering a practical example of its application in the documentation and conservation of cultural heritage.
