Abstract

Currently, there are some problems when planning an implant treatment, especially in cases where the jam is atrophic and implants cannot be inserted directly. In these cases, it is decided to increase the height of the bone by raisin the maxillary sinus, falitating the insertion of implants ins the atrophic zone. Different sinus lift techniques can be performed, each of them indicated according to the bone height that is available anda the one that needs to be increased in order to carry out the treatment with implants. In assition, there are also different types of graft that will help to achieve more bone height. To diagnose and plan the treatment well, we will use the CBCT, since it is a radiological instrument that shows the characteristics of the bone in different planes.
