Calor de procesos renovable en la industria del refino

Abstract

El consumo de energía mundial está en incremento, el consumo de combustible fósil por consiguiente sigue siendo la principal herramienta para el calor de procesos. Los problemas derivados gracias a los efectos de gases de efecto invernadero hacen que con ayuda de la tecnología avanzada se busquen soluciones alternativas a los combustibles fósiles para el calor de proceso. El presente proyecto busca desarrollar una solución para el calor de procesos que se produce en una refinería, introduciendo la energía termosolar. Como resultado se propone un campo solar con colectores cilindro-parabólicos y tanques de almacenamiento para las horas sin sol, llegando a ocupar un 50% del factor de capacidad, siendo un gran apoyo energético a las instalaciones actuales. Dicho proyecto se realizó a través del software informatico SAM, permitiendo modelar el problema en concreto en una situación pseudoreal con los datos de años anteriores. Después de analizar los resultados económicos se concluye que el apoyo con tecnología termosolar es viable económicamente y supone una mejora en cuestión de reducción de GEI.
