Abstract

En este trabajo se va a analizar la gestión, el suministro y saneamiento del agua de los países de la Unión Europea con el objetivo de conseguir información sobre, por ejemplo, los tipos de gestión utilizados, las tarifas aplicadas a cada país, el consumo de cada habitante… y cualquier dato de interés que pueda aportar información sobre cómo se realiza el suministro y saneamiento en cada uno de los países. Una vez investigado sobre cada uno de los países se elaborará un estudio comparativo entre los datos obtenidos para cada país en cuanto al tipo de gestión, las diferentes tarifas, el consumo y el gasto mensual por familia. Por último, se tratará de buscar qué país posee la gestión del agua, suministro y saneamiento más eficiente, para ello se realizará un análisis de eficiencia mediante el Análisis por Envoltura de Datos (DEA), en el que se presentaran varios escenarios según los diferentes datos que se podrían utilizar como entradas y salidas. Se utilizarán el software de programación Lingo y la metodología EMS para comparar las distintas variables obtenidas a lo largo del trabajo de modo que se llegue a ver la diferencia en cuanto a la eficiencia de los distintos países de la Unión Europea y si existiera algún tipo de relación entre el tipo de gestión del agua y su eficiencia.

In this work we will analyze the management, supply and sanitation of water in the countries of the European Union with the aim of obtaining information on, for example, the types of management used, the tariffs applied to each country, the consumption of each inhabitant... and any data of interest that can provide information on how the supply and sanitation is carried out in each of the countries. Once research has been carried out on each of the countries, a comparative study will be made of the data obtained for each country in terms of the type of management, the different tariffs, consumption and monthly expenditure per family. Finally, we will try to find which country has the most efficient water management, supply and sanitation, for which an efficiency analysis will be carried out using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), in which several scenarios will be presented according to the different data that could be used as inputs and outputs. The Lingo programming software and the EMS methodology will be used to compare the different variables obtained throughout the work in order to see the difference in the efficiency of the different countries of the European Union and if there is any relationship between the type of water management and its efficiency.
