The main goal of this project is to study the sea level fluctuations within the Spanish Mediterranean Coast and The Gulf of Cádiz, by anylizing the sea level trends and inter-annual variability in Cádiz, Tarifa, Algeciras, Ceuta, Málaga, Alicante and L’Estartit during, at least, the last thirty years. Gaps within sea level time series have been filled using a linear regression on nearby locations. Then, a statistical linear model has been used to establish the relationship between sea level and those factors that could have some influence on it. Finally, it has been estimated how each factor has contributed to the long-term variability of sea level.
