El presente trabajo tiene como objeto el desarrollo del debate referente a la posibilidad de modificar el derecho a una vivienda digna y adecuada en la Constitución española, pasando de estar regulado como un principio rector a estar regulado como un derecho fundamental. Para ello, son analizados el concepto de vivienda digna y adecuada, su tratamiento actual en el ordenamiento jurídico español, y su relación con otros conceptos jurídicos.

The present work aims to develop the debate about the possibility of modifying the right to decent and adequate housing in the Spanish Constitution, going from being regulated as a guiding principle to being regulated as a fundamental Right. To this end, the concept of decent and adequate housing, its current treatment in the Spanish legal system, and its relationship with other legal concepts are analysed.
