Abstract

The main purpose of this project is to analyse, from a techno-economic point of view, the installation of a selfsupply system on a land dedicated to farming. A common problem faced by farmers related to watering is the obligation of hiring, during all the year, the same energy power. However, the period of maximun consumption is relatively short, depending on the watering season. Because of that, this method means a high expense for the farmer. The aim of this plan is to study the possibility of developing and setting a different system: a self-supply photovoltaic system which allows the reduction of the maximun power requiered by the supply system (and consequently, the hired power) and at the same time, allows to obtain a benefit by selling the surplus of energy.
