Discapacidad y sociedad : un programa educativo en el museo dirigido a personas con discapacidad visual

Abstract

Presenta un programa educativo realizado en el Museo Arqueológico de Sevilla por la asignatura Museología y Legislación Artística de la Facultad de Bellas Artes, dirigido a los niños del Colegio Luis Braille se Sevilla, cuyos alumnos son niños y jóvenes con discapacidad visual. El programa museográfico se celebró en torno al Día Internacional de los Museos, el 18 de mayo y en el contexto del año 2003, Año Europeo de las personas con discapacidad. Y su puesta en práctica hay que agradecerla a las distintas instituciones que han prestado apoyo y ayuda: el club UNESCO Sevilla, la ONCE (Organización Nacional de Ciegos Españoles) y el Ayuntamiento de Sevilla. El programa además se integra en un Proyecto de Innovación Docente de la Universidad de Sevilla, que bajo el tema Sociedad y Discapacidad une a la Facultad de Bellas Artes, la Facultad de Psicología y de Medicina, contando con la ayuda del Instituto de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad de Sevilla y el Servicio de Recursos Audiovisuales. El proyecto de Innovación Docente consta del programa educativo en la escuela y en el museo, ambos con la creación de una serie de recursos y estrategias educativas para conseguir sus objetivos.
