The aim of this work is to study several modes of convergence of sequences of functions, such as: Pointwise, Uniformly, Pointwise almost everywhere, Uniformly almost everywhere, Almost Uniformly, in Measure and 퐿1 norm convergence. Pointwise and Uniform convergence are familiar to students of the Mathematics Degree. However, the others ve modes are not well known for most students. Therefore, we will study them carefully and we will see the relationships between them. Finally, in the last chapter, we will try to go further, and we are going to study if the di erence between some of these modes of convergence is large in an algebraic sense, using the modern Lineability Theory.
