Abstract

During the 2019/2020 course, this research was carried out with the aim of analyzing the students' conceptions regarding the teaching taught by their teachers, who participated in the General Course of University Teaching (CGDU) of the Training and Innovation Program Teacher of the Teaching Staff (FIDOP Program) of the University of Seville in 2018. Objective: to justify that the conceptions of the students are an indicator of the effectiveness of a change in teaching. Instruments used: Likert-type questionnaire (closed questions) with the following categories: content, methodology and evaluation. Methods used: statistical-descriptive analysis (with measures of trend, distribution and dispersion) and multifactorial analysis of data with varimax rotation through the IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 electronic program. Results: the evaluation category shows great advances regarding the teaching change. In general, the results extracted from the students' conceptions show the evidence that there is progress in teaching practice, but not yet reaching the ideal reference level.
