Estudio a fatiga de prótesis dentales

Abstract

Dental prostheses are the first link in the transmission of efforts found in the set of mechanical elements of dental implants. Through them, the stresses produced by chewing will be transmitted to the implant, which in turn will transmit them to the jaw, so that, throughout its useful life, this set will be subjected to numerous load cycles. It is due to this fact that a fatigue study of dental prostheses has been proposed. There are different kinds of prostheses: fixed on natural teeth, fixed on implants, partial and complete removable. The study to be carried out will focus on fixed implant prostheses.
