This work is focused on the study of part of the photojournalist Emilio Morenatti's work, director of the agency Associated Press (AP) in Spain and Portugal, through the analysis of morphological and compositional aspects of his pictures. Moreover, the history of the photojournalism and its current scarcity in Spain is framed, as well as the way the photography takes in a world in which the immediacy takes precedence over the pictures' quality. The steps that should be followed by the professionals who work at AP impossed by the agency are also exposed. Finally, through the morphological analysis of his pictures, it will be tried to be demonstrated the importance of the photojournalist role when creating a visual narrative which provides information to the audience and, with it, to generate a dialogue between the photography and the person.
