Yaratıcı muhasebe stratejileri

Abstract

It can be said that accounting is the most basic tool that is utilized to inform business-related interest groups. But, businesses are sometimes reluctant to announce the results of operations in a realistic manner. From this point of view, they adopt applications that take advantage of existing flexibilities in the field of accounting. These kinds of applications can be named as creative accounting strategies, of which, the most widely used are increasing income, decreasing expenses, increasing assets, decreasing liabilities, and increasing cash flow. The possible effects on the implementation of mentioned strategies are not analyzed sufficiently in the literature. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the common strategies of creative accounting and their effects.
