Yeni misyon trendi: Kısa süreli misyonerlik

Abstract

This article deals with the "Short-Term Missions" which came into being in the second half of the twentieth century and has become a very popular mission trend among Christians. After a brief introduction, which describes what this new trend and its content are, it examines the attractive aspects of this trend, its contributions to Christian missionary works, its negative aspects, some recommendations to short-term missionaries, and various statistical data concerned with the subject. Some churches and missionary organizations believe that this new trend has provided important contribution to Christian missionary efforts and will continue to do so. This situation makes the new paradigm for the mission an urgent in the sense of a better understanding of the present day Christian mission.
