Antibakteriyel oksit tozlarının emaye uygulamaları

Abstract

Epidemik hastalıkların oluşturduğu risk bilim adamlarını daha sağlıklı yaşama ortamları için yeni ürünler yaratmaya itmektedir. Son günlerde ortaya çıkan SARS ve Kuş gribi salgını bir çok insanın ölümüne yol açarak büyük çapta ekonomik kayba yol açtı. Son on yıl içinde antibakteriyel sistemlerden oluşan özellikle metal iyon esaslı antibakteriyel sistemler üzerinde çok sayıda çalışma yürütülmüştür. Bu çalışmada kalsiyum fosfat bazlı antibakteriyel seramik tozu yaş kimyasal metod ile sentezlenmiş ve antibakteriyel emayeler yaratmak amacıyla emaye bileşimi içine katılmıştır. Antibakteriyel emaye yüzeyinin zararlı patojenik mikroorganizmalara karşı antibakteriyel aktivitesini incelemek için kontak bakteri testleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Antibakteriyel gücü göstermesi amacıyla endikatör bakteri olarak antibakteriyel test için günlük hayatta insanların en çok karşı karşıya geldiği bakteri tipi olan Escherichia-coli bakterisi tercih edilmiştir.
