Abstract

Hafiflikleri ile metallere göre son derece avantajlı olan kompo- zit malzemeler, günümüzde çok yaygın bir şekilde kullanılmaktadır. Sivil ve askeri uçakların gövde ve motorlarında kompozit malzemelerin kullanımı, son zamanlarda havacılık ve tasarım mühendisliğinde en be- lirgin gelişmeler olmuştur. Bu çalışmada kompozit malzemelerin yapı- ları, özellikleri ve üretim yöntemleri tanıtılmış ve uçak yapılarında uygulama örnekleri verilmiştir. Mekanik incelemelerle de, kompozit malzemelerin havacılık endüstrisi için uygun bir malzeme grubu olduğu gösterilmiştir.
