Aktif karbon adsorpsiyonu ile boyarmadde giderimi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada atıksulardaki boyarmaddenin aktif karbon kullanılarak adsorpsiyon yöntemi ile giderimi incelenmiştir. Onopordum Acanthium L.'un potasyum karbonat (K2CO3) ile kimyasal aktivasyonu, aktif karbon hazırlanmasında kullanılmıştır. Boyarmadde olarak Reaktif Mavi 19 ve Reaktif Turuncu 16 kullanılmıştır. Başlangıç boya derişiminin, başlangıç pH'ının, adsorban miktarı, adsorpsiyon süresi ve sıcaklığın giderim üzerindeki etkisinin incelendiği çalışmalarda 300 ppm'lik boya derişiminde % 99.94 giderim sağlanmışken 600 ppm için % 81.04 giderim bulunmuştur. Boyarmaddelerin aktif karbon üzerine adsorpsiyonu sistemi için, izoterm araştırması yapılmış ve elde edilen adsorpsiyon sabitleri yardımıyla sistem termodinamiği incelenmiştir. Ayrıcadört farklı sıcaklıkta, farklı başlangıç derişimleri ile deneysel çalışmalar yapılarak, kinetik hız ifadeleri incelenmiştir.
