Bazı bitkisel tentürlerde farmakope analizleri ve antimikrobiyal aktivite tayini

Abstract

Bitkisel drog preparatı olarak tentürler, eczacılık ve fitoterapide binlerce yıllık bir kullanıma sahiptir. Gerek geleneksel, gerekse kanıta dayalı iyi tanımlanmış etkiye sahip tentürlerin günümüzde de terapötik olarak yaygın kullanımı mevcuttur. Bu çalışma kapsamında farklı farmakopelerde yer alan kırmızı kantaron - Centaurium erythraea L. (Gentianaceae), mür - Commiphora myrrha (Nees) Engler (Burseraceae), sarı kantaron - Hypericum perforatum L. (Hypericaceae), gözotu - Euphrasia officinalis L. (Orobanchaceae), turna gagası - Geranium robertianum (Geraniaceae), adaçayı - Salvia officinalis (Lamiaceae), ve ısırgan - Urtica dioica L. (Urticaceae)'nın tentürleri Avrupa Farmakopesi (Ph. Eur, 2019) kapsamında uygunlukları fizikokimyasal ve İTK ile analiz edilmiştir. Ayrıca Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella typhimurium, Escherichia coli H157, Bacteriodes fragilis, Yersinia enterocolitica, Clostridium difficile, Campylobacter jejuni, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Streptococcus mutans, Escherichia coli, Streptococcus sanguinis, Fusobacterium nucleatum gibi insan patojeni mikroorganizmalar kullanılarak in vitro mikrodilüsyon yöntemi ile antimikrobiyal etkinlikleri açısından değerlendirilmiştir. E. officinalis tentürünün test edilen bütün mikroorganizmalarda etkinliği denenen maksimum konsantrasyondan daha yukarıda olduğu çıkmıştır. H. perforatum tentürünün ise C. jejuni'ye karşı etkisi denenen minimum konsantrasyondan daha düşük konstrasyonda etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
