Mobil internet kullanımının benimsenmesinde yakınsama faktörüyle teknoloji kabul modeli

Abstract

In this study, university students’ adoption of mobile internet technology is tried to be explained based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which is an important modeling approach for information technology research. For this purpose, convergence and image factors are added to the classical TAM during research model establishment. Convergence factor is not been observed in TAM literature and for this purpose it is proposed as a factor effects perceived usefulness. The research model is tested with data obtained from 363 university students studying at Anadolu University and Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University. Collected data in the study analyzed by structural equation modeling technique and LISREL 8.72 software program is used. As a result of the analysis, a model is reached that there is no relationship among image and perceived ease of use with perceived usefulness; and there are significant relationships among convergence, perceived usefulness, attitude toward using, and intention to use.
