Abstract

Il contributo intende presentare non tanto un’esaustiva ricostruzione del pensiero pedagogico e dell’esperienza educativa di don Lorenzo Milani e Mario Lodi, quanto piuttosto di offrirne una sintesi efficace, che punti a delineare una tappa senz’altro fondamentale dell’evoluzione del nostro sistema formativo in relazione ai due fattori dell’inclusione e della promozione sociale. Si analizzano pertanto e mettono a confronto tra loro le due esperienze educative promosse tra la metà degli anni '50 e la fine degli anni '60 da don Milani nella scuola aperta nella canonica di Barbiana e da Mario Lodi nella scuola del Vho di Piadena, rivoluzionarie nella forma e nei contenuti.
