Abstract

El extraordinario interés de la arquitectura argentina del siglo XX, en sus expresiones directamente “importadas” mediante la acción de arquitectos italianos y europeos en términos generales, ha suscitado la atención de estudiosos de diversas disciplinas históricas y arquitectónicas incluso en Italia. Actualmente, existe la necesidad de profundizar en los aspectos del diseño proyectual, la técnica y los materiales asociados a estas obras, que en ocasiones parecen estar en riesgo, especialmente por la falta del reconocimiento de su valor y significado, así como por la falta del conocimiento directo de los métodos de construcción y empleo de los materiales. El campo de estudio de la investigación incluye la arquitectura de las primeras décadas del siglo XX, en las ciudades de Buenos Aires y Córdoba, realizadas conforme al proyecto de profesionales italianos.

Lo straordinario interesse dell’architettura argentina del Novecento, nelle sue espressioni direttamente ‘importate’ tramite l’azione di architetti italiani, ed europei più in generale, ha suscitato l’attenzione di studiosi delle diverse discipline storiche e architettoniche, anche in Italia. Attualmente si manifesta l’esigenza di approfondire gli aspetti progettuali, tecnici e materiali connessi a queste realizzazioni, che paiono talvolta a rischio, soprattutto per un mancato riconoscimento di valore e significato, oltre che per mancanza di conoscenza diretta delle modalità costruttive e di impiego dei materiali. Il campo di indagine della ricerca ha riguardato architetture dei primi decenni del XX secolo, nelle città di Buenos Aires e Córdoba, realizzate su progetto di professionisti italiani.
